Lalalalala I'm not listening. I spoke to CM Hudson on the phone Friday, and he said all of their info still pointed to 4/22.

This cracked me up!

This year, there’s also some new nighttime show debuting in Animal Kingdom towards the end of the month. Maybe you’ve heard of it? Some lantern thing with water–probably based on that one scene from Tangled. Good luck trying to see it, though, because I hear the park is going to close at 6 p.m. and its 3 nightly showings will play to an empty seating area.

Didn't @yulilin3 say she also heard they were having technical difficulties? Nothing about a delay on that end though. Just that that's the reason they cancelled the previews? Sounds more like an assumption that it's delayed alltogether on whichever site posted that info.

yeah delayed in construction but everything still points to an April 22nd start

There's a pretty reliable source (at least it seems that way) on the DIBB that has been posting over the last week that they might not hit the 22nd date --- I'm guessing that's the site ---

At this point, glad we are not leaving until 6/30, but I feel for the people trying to firm up their plans for April trips !

I didn't read through all the post but was looking at making fast passes for end of May trip. I didn't see Rivers of Light as an option for any of the days. Are there not fast passes for this?

I posted another pretty tame one on the other blog post asking if Joe Rohde would be staying to attend Rivers of Light that night, and if so what would the start time for that show be. That one was rejected. Go figure!

Pretty sure we don't know if there will be FP or not, but there aren't any yet if there will be.

Currently they have not posted FPs or dining packages for ROL, nor have they said when they would be available (or the show schedule, etc.). We've just been told to keep our eye on the Disney Parks blog for additional information - and we've watched like a hawk but nothing yet! Some sites have reported recently (see above on this page) that there are technical issues, so that may be impacting FPs, etc. - hoping that the start date is not in jeopardy!

Which is probably also what @yulilin3 heard. Tech issues. I guess everything else is speculation. Or at least I believe it is. Because if these issues were grave and there was no way they could make the date, I'd assume the'd pull the plug now.
