Still no baby. I went for a 5 mile walk this morning because my doctor recommended long walks, but all I got for that was swollen feet.

I know my friend is putting in crazy long hours working on RoL. I'd love to ask her how it's going but her last few Facebook statuses have been about wine and frozen pizza at 2am and other things that indicate she might be a little stressed!

@KMWoolley OMG I know Im pages behind on this thread but opened the DPB to legos page to check it out for DS and started laughing out loud in my office (I think I may have spit water too!) People are staring!!!!

Maybe we will get "blind bags" with times for ROL instead of FP+?

My optimistic outlook for this weekend is they announce park hours. I think they can/should go on with the other night events even if ROL is not ready.

I do not expect FP or dining info.

ROL show times would be a nice bonus but I think that might be asking for too much.

I guess if they can get park hours updated, there shouldn't be any reason whey they couldn't update FP, for at least the other events...maybe not ROL, but heck, how about the safari?

I did a little historical sleuthing and went back to the announcements about FP+ for SDMT. They announced the actual official open date on may 2nd and the opening was May 28th (26 days ahead of opening). People were able to start booking that same day as announcement but still it was all inside 30 days. So in ROL case they gave us a date much earlier for opening but FP+ availability is later. I wouldn't be surprised if you could start booking on the 1st or 2nd. That's 3 weeks out only a week shorter than what they did with SDMT. So "news on the blog" on Thursday or Friday would fit. My guess is based on this activity Disney will not give official dates anymore until they are ready to roll everything out.

Also for reference in March 2014 for SDMT they were saying things like "soon", In Mid April it was "spring opening"

I don't think them not releasing FP (and dining) yet means that there is a problem or they wont make the 22nd. I think they just wanted to get interest up and announced the official opening earlier than they have for other big attractions.

Sorry to venture slightly off topic. Depending on AK nighttime offerings for my mid May trip I am doing AK as either my first or last day of the trip and HS as the other... For days with "alternate plans" which Fastpasses are the safest bet to hold onto for now..AK ones or HS ones? Thanks all!

Keep your HS FPs. First, the tiering can make things more difficult to get there. Second, if (when) AK extends hours, additional FP times will open as well.

When I can slip on to the DIS and see that this thread is only going up a page every now and then and not 20+ pages....it's a sure sign that people are giving up and or getting discouraged

Random question:
What is your favorite park and no fair saying some parks are tied or you like each one for different reasons...I know how tough it can be for some people (I am one of those people) but just for today, there will be no hurt feelings and just say your favorite park, even if it's your favorite by only a hair!

EPCOT for me!
