I would like to do the Christmas party on 11/10 on my daughter's 10th birthday, but I would say my odds of that are even slimmer than they are for getting any solid info about ROL before I leave for my trip?

Have I mentioned that I leave in 23 days? Not sure if I did...

My birthday is on the 9th I want to do Food & Wine for my birthday next year. That's probably not as good for a 10 year old as it is for a .... an adult

Mine will be a milestone birthday too. It will just be DH and I. We got back late Sunday night Luckily, I have a July trip in the works, for which I am trying to get an ROL dining package and I am waiting for the DIS Podcast 10th Anniversary events to be announced. Just seems like waiting and waiting

Oooooh the podcast events sound great! I heard on the show yesterday they said the live show will be able to accommodate anyone who wants to attend. I soooo wish I could make it down for that!

I am eager to hear about the venue, Pete seemed very excited by it.

My vote is still for them to rent out Coral Reef so they can do the show from inside a little submarine while the rest of us get to have dinner. Kind of like Jesse and Joey did in the Full House episode when they went to Disney.

I've been contemplating taking a short weekend trip with DD - and there is a party scheduled on my birthday! I'm starting to feel that AP temptation everyone talks about... (I understand that the party is a hard ticket with a separate cost - but with the AP I could stay an extra day and justify the flight cost a little better...)

My bday is Oct 29 and I've always wanted to do Food & Wine and MNSSHP for my bday but haven't made it yet. DH mentioned an adults only trip so I threw it out there. Maybe not this year bc we are planning June 2016 and June 2017...but in a few years.

And save on food/room/shopping but be careful - we usually go once a year but upgraded for a 2nd trip & now there's 3+ in the works...you'll never look at a 4 day weekend the same way!!

I've been contemplating upgrading our 7 day hoppers (from parksavers...after first use). It would be a little over 300 more (DS and I) since we decided on another trip next summer. If I could swing it, I could use that for an Oct adults only trip!

I have more information for the imaginary birthday trip I'm taking with my daughter over Veteran's Day that will never happen, than I do for my trip that is 23 days away - almost 22!

Pretty funny events 6-8 months out are getting announced and ROL is supposed to open in 4 weeks and not a peep.

So - my coworker just got a text from his friend who is a cast member at Disney who stated: No more FP for fireworks or parades.

Would that include ROL? That's what we originally asked her about.

No, RoL is different than the MK events. We've known those ended for several weeks

I hope not but I was thinking the same thing. I have been doing hourly checks to make sure my MSEP FP is still there ever since I read about this...

They aren't taking away those that have been reserved. They just stopped offering them after a certain date
