Based on the comments, I'm so glad I chose taking a shower over tuning in! So what was the "surprise" they touted in the announcement? Was it, surprise, we're not releasing any info?!

Basically they showed the 2 story teller costumes. And gave capacity for a show.

It's not even logical to me. Why would you have a live chat and not provide any practical information to people, especially when it's scheduled to start in about 5 or 6 weeks? I mean, it's lovely to describe the creative journey and the lanterns and the rivers, etc., but why have a live event without practical information about attending it. Makes no sense to me...

Of course they've worked hard getting this show open. However, with about 6 weeks left, we still don't have info. THAT part is frustrating!

The thing is, most of us probably would have been fine with the nature of the live chat if they would just go ahead and release planning details when they know. At this point, we know they know what packages they will be offering, where, and when. We know they know what time they will be scheduling shows in the first couple of months. The withholding of this info so close to the date when we are forced to plan so much of our trips many months out is just frustrating and unnecessary. If we weren't all sitting here with our eyes twitching wondering about how we'll need to modify our vacation plans again we likely would have been more receptive to getting a peek at various aspects of the show.
