True, but that's using a conventional calendar. We're stuck with a Disney Calendar and who knows what they consider 'Summer' to mean. To them 'very soon' seems to mean at least 2 weeks...

When is what Disney calls "summer?" I guess we'll find out when we see the date that Tiffin's opens.

You're Altanta area, right? I don't know if you realize but I'm not far from you (right outside of Chattanooga TN). It's the same up here too. We seem to jump from really hot to really cold to really hot again.

Summer starts June 20/21, or thereabouts.

It's funny but official season start dates don't really correspond to what most folks think of as the season

Winter starts Dec 20/21
Spring March 20/21
Summer June 20/21
Fall Sept 20/21

How many here think of Sept as fall, Nov as Winter and May as summer?

Disney's Summer is not the same as regular Summer, remember that SWW was always said to be a Summer event but started mid May. I also think Tiffins will probably open the busy weekend of May 27th

Hey, if that's the only "double" you have, you are rare. I have a couple of Beaches and Cream resv scheduled for lunch or late lunch on our AK day, and they are totally dependent on getting a dining package or not....

Many folks grab every time they can get, then go back and casually go though and cancel the ones they don't want. The CANCELLED ADR thread is good for that, as you can coordinate with folks who might be wanting your time, and you can do a drop and grab.

EDIT: YIPPEE, my post makes it PAGE 400!!! Do I win? Maybe a FP to ROL??????

So close....6/7! But you already knew that from my PTR.

I know! 6/7 is actually our alternate AK day. I have identical ADR's booked on both days for DHS and AK. We will go to one on 6/7 and one on 6/9 (8am TH for AK day, noon hour Fantasmic! H&V lunch for DHS day). I would actually prefer 6/7 as AK, but it feels a little strange to put it there. We are going for a long trip (6/6-6/18), and are only planning to visit AK once in 10 park days, as it's our least favorite park. 6/7 is our first park day. I was trying to schedule AK for a little further in the trip since we'll just be hitting it that once. I still have the flexibility to switch at this point - FP booking next Wednesday night!

Yep! I'm in the northeast suburbs. And yeh, its like long sleeves to tank tops and back again! It's like we go straight from using our central heat to our central air!
