Rumors of Light (ROL discussion thread)

I think it's just a rumor at this stage. One that's popped up in a few places, but still rumor. For all we know, they're all from one source. WHO KNOWS?!?!

But yeah... if someone is going to leak something, can it at least be RoL related for now, please?!
It was said on another thread that it was leaked early and Disney is mad. No more details about that though.

It came out as a leak but it is not a rumor

I saw somewhere (I think DIS on fb) that the tickets for the MK after hours event will go on sale April 6th. That is 8 days before the first night of the event. Hope ROL doesn't follow the same timeline.

Well, it literally was there seconds ago. I went on the link through another thread and looked it up on my own. Now it's blank. Another thread has the information.

Well isn't that an informative page

It's there just no details

Saw this on that other thread -- perhaps this is what was there... before it disappeared... http://www.disboards.com/threads/ne...event-announced.3494480/page-17#post-55399407

Here is the information from the link. It is the information that was on Disney's page. I hope I can copy it here? If not, please delete, moderator?

My only possible date for this MK thing is Apr 14 -- the night before the 5K... and then we are also running the 10K and half. I don't think I'll be there 11pm-2am! And it seems pretty light on offerings to me for $150pp -- and I am a big fan of most of the ticketed events.

So what I'm hearing is… take a drink or do a lap/push-up every time we see information put out by Disney that "mysteriously" disappears or simply removes details to become more vague. Golly, waiting for Rivers of Light could become the next best workout plan!

Sending supportive hugs to our Belgium friends, as well as those who've experienced prior circumstances like this. :grouphug: hugs.

That would be the night we could go for our April trip too. Since we have to get up so early for the 5K it's a big no.
But, DH and I are back in May and he's already said he wants to do it on the 8th. I'll leave it open till we get official and complete details but I think we'll likely do it.
We do CV at $129 this is more time in the park, rides and only $20 more

I can find it when I do a general search on MDE (laptop not phone, haven't tried that). And it's telling me that I can call now for tickets!

Would love to hear your feedback if you do end up doing it in May! Like I said... we're generally big fans of most of their ticketed events... this just seems a little light to me... will be anxious to hear what people report!
