I am also curious to see if any shows will go later in the night as well, like Lion King, Nemo or Wings of Flight.....

Good question.
Wings of Flight is closed for extensive remodel right now. I know they are adding a roof to the seating area. It's possible they are also adding lights. I have no idea.

Or, maybe it's a roof for Flights of Wonder...

Cast Members blockout dates have been updated and it still shows that CM cannot bring family or friends into AK starting April 19th, I think they are still expecting that week to have some previews.

At this point I would just like to be reassured that AOL and the night activities will be available during our May trip. I would be just as happy to snag a FP instead of a dinning package or at least know if there WILL be 3 shows our AK night at least giving us a chance to see it. I need a cocktail and I do not even drink lol!!!

This is exactly how we feel, down to the "and I don't even drink". I just want to see the show on our mid-May trip. I'd grab a dining plan if they offered one, but I just want to see the show, along with the other new nighttime activities.

I'm pretty much over it. I may end up changing to another Epcot day if I have to have the crowds and he hassle of a lot more people but not get to see the lights or do any of the nighttime activities. I may just wait and let it die down some especially since I am now within 50 days. It's not worth the stress or aggravation. My babies will be just fine with princesses.

That would change their entire cast schedule, I would imagine. Could they increase the amount of shows with the current crews they have?

I think they might add another show in the later afternoon or something but it probably won't run all night long.

Hi everyone! Thought I would come out of "lurking" and say hi (this is my first post). I have been following this thread from the beginning and am still hoping to get lucky with Rivers of Light through this thread! I have not been to Disney World in over 15 years and this is my husband and son's first visit (he is 5). I am 25 days out from arrival and leave Disney April 24. I love planning things but I really want some answers on Rivers of Light! If it is going to be pushed back for some reason, I just want to know! I really hope to get a chance to see this show but the checking every day is getting old quick. I am so grateful for this thread though and just wanted to chime in!

I wish they'd give us more news, but in the meantime this is a fun place to wait.

hmm. when I checked bright and early this morning it was still listed as April 22nd. it seems they've moved pretty quickly to change that info. I think it was just the other day that Tiffins even had an opening date?

ROL is still my main priority for April 22nd, but who knows with all the rumors flying around.

It most certainly did show April 22 as an opening date as of yesterday.
Maybe they are finally deciding on a course of action and can let us all get on with our bookings.

A signature restaurant should have a good few weeks training, so if they're looking to hire in May, I would assume a June (probably late June) opening would be accurate. I'm not surprised it's behind schedule, I thought it was odd we hadn't really heard anything yet.

A couple of days ago I got my passholder update email that said "coming summer 2016" for Tiffins but still had April 22nd for ROL. Just to make it more unclear.
