This is the most realistic rumor I have seen on these boards in some time.

AP- 'Disney's Magical Rumors' comes to WDW

Glendale, CA- After months of serious reviews of fan sites across the internet, The Walt Disney Company has announced that it will be adding a new feature to it's already popular "Disney's Magical Express" service at Walt Disney World.

The new service is known as "Disney's Magical Rumors" and will begin officially on April 1, 2008. The drivers of the Magical Express vehicles will provide, free of charge, unlimited rumors from departure time at the airport until the destination at one of Walt Disney World's several resorts.

Disney spokesman Al Il'slow had this to say "Actually, we've offered this service unofficially for some time now, but we decided that the time is right to roll Disney's Magical Rumors out and publicize it as a free service offered to those special guests of our resorts"...then he added a long disclaimer regarding the validity of rumors and that will be also written inside every Disney Magical Express vehicle.

So I assume the 'Disney's Magical Rumors' program gives validity to the rumor that the black patches on the Swan & Dolphin were originally intended to include a bridge & terminal for the Magical Express buses?

The "monorail going through the Swan & Dolphin" is an old rumor.

In reality, WDW was going to put the Skyway through the hotels as "magical transportation" to the new Shadowlands park. That why that ride was removed from the Magic Kingdom (along with 'Mr. Toad' which will come back in an 'Evil Mr. Toad' version). However, only crane large enough to remove the rooms from the black squares was damaged in Hurricane Katrina. Disney is building a replacement crane in the same shipyards that is building the fifth and sixth Disney cruise ships (The Disney Princess and the Disney Mermaid) which will be based in Hawai'i, but it's already booked to help build the Disney parks in Texas, Branson, Australia, Singapore and India. Once that's done, I'm sure we'll see it back in Florida.
