I think that TRU is in such financial trouble - trying to sell off stores and possibly close for good, that they cannot take any chance on losing more money. It is sad, but I'm sure they are just trying to stay in business.

With more and more stores not price-matching, getting stricter on their returns and such, they are really making us work for our savings. LOL!

What the manager at the TRU by my house said they are not doing it because it holds up the lines and there competetors are not doing it (which they are) and they feel they will still do good without it. Bad choice if you ask me. I am sure all the stores get the products for the same price so I doubt that they will lose money by giving the competetors price they are just getting cheap. They will learn there lesson this year and bring it back next year.

Another thing to think about it when your price match the other store is sapposed to have the iten, in stock. Toys R Us has in the past called the local store to verify if they have the item in stock, if not, no price match.

Black friday is crazy enough and than to have to call other stores to check on in stock items (if they were to follow this)

I have given up on waiting in lines and dealing with the crazy people. Not everyone one but you know they crazy customers who push and shove or show up as the doors open and try and cut in even though you were in line for an hour.

I can't believe they aren't price matching. That really stinks. I think that brought in money for them b/c I also bought a lot of other stuff since I was there & wanted to get my shopping done.

I was in TRU on Monday just to see what they had and was shocked that their prices are at least $1.00 HIGHER than Target or Walmart.

No need to shop at TRU anymore for me.

A little bird told me that TRU says they're opening at 6 but are really opening at 5. Not sure if this is just the one by me, but I wouldn't want anyone to go at 5 and see they're still closed.
