I am hoping it will be an either or deal. The 5/2 deal would cost us $200 more because of the tickets.

We're booked May 26-June 4 so I'm also hoping for the 4/3!!! Is the rumored discount we're discussing now only good thru March or is there a chance it will also cover the summer months? Just wondering how worked up I should be right now!!!

90 day for Christmas has already passed and the change back to 180 isn't supposed to happen until 10/27, so unless something has changed with that (which is the CM who posted about the schedule's theory), it isn't the reason.

most start their trips either Saturday or Sunday, those arriving on (Friday) 12/25 should have ADR window starting today & those arriving the day after Xmas (Saturday) 12/26 would start making their ADRs tomorrow.

it's my understanding that it's the week between Xmas & New Years which is the craziest crowdwise which is why i indicated the need for extra staffing on ADRs

I just got our Disney Visa a month or so ago... how do they usually notify Disney Visa card holders of special promos? By e-mail?

I have been a Disney Visa holder for a few years now. They have sent me emails regarding specials but I check online too. When you log in to see your Visa account, you can select the "View Disney Offers". There is an offer right now for free admission to the PGA tour for you + 3 people and I did not get an email for that! But when WDW has offered free dining or other deals for Disney Visa holders FIRST, they have always sent me an email.

does anyone know if the disney website updates at midnight?

only one hour and 9 minutes.....

if i don't stay up and see what happens (if anything) i will surely wake up at like 3 or 4 am to check and see

In my opinion the Disney website is rarely kept up to date. LOL! At least with calenders. my last trip I knew the hours from other websites long before they were evver correctly posted on the site. I wouldn;t bother getting up early.

Don't quote me on this, and I really don;t know for sure. I do not have a Disney visa, but I swear I read that you had to just make the deposit with it.

Something is happening with the website right now. I didn't read back on this thread to know whether it's been noted already or not, but the corner "Special Offers" java thingie that looked like the page would curl back to show the current specials, is not currently visible on the main www.disneyworld.com page like it has been for ages. Maybe they're updating it??

I went to price out CSR (we're currently booked at POP, but planning to change to a mod if the rumors are correct) and the reservation system is down.... I know this doesn't always mean anything, but it is a promising sign...

I'm on the west coast so I really don't want to get up at 3:00 on a Sunday to check for deals, but I will....

I'm hoping something is announced today.

Was the 4/3 deal extended through mid-August? I remember reading somewhere that it was extended through the middle of August, until right before free dining began. We have August 4-11 booked and would LOVE the deal.

GUESS they are getting ready to upload the new DEAL.
I can't wait to see what it is.
Presently, I have a FD at the POP....FOR 2.
If the new deal is 5/2 for values, I can't see it being cheaper....

I just checked in on the disney site using the link given a few posts back and I don't see any deals yet. Earlier when I tried to put in dates I couldn't get anything past that page. This time it gave me the regular rack rates as usual so I'm thinking the new deals aren't out as of yet. Hopefully soon!!

Also, others have been noting that the rumored deal didn't mention the tickets part of the deal or a gift card this year, but isn't it very possible the rumors don't have all of the details of the offer coming out? That's what I'm going with, if the rumor had all the details it might as well have been the announcement. When the deal comes out it should have the extra parts of the deal, don't you think that makes sense, lol?

Looks like Free Dining has ended but the Oct/Dec Discount has been extended. Travel dates are October 4 to December 24. It must be booked by October 31.

I just tried logging into my Disney Visa account and it says it's "website is unavailable right now because of system maintenance. Please log on later."

I've never tried to log on before on a Sunday morning at 7am so this could be a completely normal time for them to be upgrading their site.

Keep waiting patiently I guess...
