There's some rumors going around about Poly 2 going on sale before the end of the year.

Also, found this quote from a reputable source (Honorary Bus Driver) on The Dis:

Due to the potential shortage of hard and soft retail goods this Christmas, there is a rumor that Disney is going to take advantage by starting VGF2 Poly 2 sales on Black Friday with crazy good incentives.

Potential shortage of hard and soft retail goods? Shouldn't be any reason for that this year unless Disney has cut the purchasing budget.....which would be particularly short sighted.
