I don't hate the hat. I only hate where it's located.
The hat would "work" at a value resort, along with other big icons. But at the Studios park, it detracts from the wonderful Golden Age of Hollywood ambience that Hollywood Blvd. originally had.
People who never visited the Studios park before the hat was installed never saw how nice it was when Hollywood Blvd. led up to the most famous movie theater in the world.
I'm sure there's no way to move the hat. It's huge. I hope it will be removed some day, even if that means cutting it up for scrap.

. I agree. I don't mind the hats looks, just the location. And that view that you had when you first entered the studios (before the hat) was majestic....and when the Christmas tree was there....awesome sight
