Thanks!

There is already a thread posted yesterday HERE discussing this.

You never know about these kind of rumors.

I do know that the link you referenced says that their information comes from the site WDWNT.com.

That site has the following disclaimer-

WDWNT.com is an unofficial site and is not in any way affiliated with The Walt Disney Company.

This would be a slap in the face to Disney World's loyalest customers. Who else buys No Expiration tickets? None of my, Once Every 5 Years, friends. My 10 day park hoppers plus last 2 years. I go twice a year. Every vacation I use about 2 days of PH + 1 Water/DQ. Disney Quest is barely worth the extra $5. Probably wouldn't step foot in Magic Kingdom if it wasn't for MNSSHP or MVMCP. I can't even do Epcot unless there's Food/Wine or Flower/Garden. I think $70 per day is enough since we only go on 1 ride and the rest of the time we are shopping and eating. Back at Hotel by 2:00 pm.
Sounds too negative. Rewrite for the "Just don't go if you hate it so much" crowd.
Love my 10 Park Hopper Plus with NO EXPIRATION! They last me 2 years! Disney Quest only cost $5 to get in and brings us $15 worth of enjoyment. We love Magic Kingdom Partys. We went early before Harmony Barber Shop closed. Hope Michael never retires! If he has a fan club I'll join. Epcot's Food and Wine is awesome. Filet Mignon with Truffle Butter and Dom Pérignon is my best Disney moment of all 2014!

Nice re-write there ;)

Yeah, not sure if this is true, but I think $70 is plenty for people willing to shell out the money ahead of time.

Taking this option away just seems like chasing pennies to me.
