RUMOR HAS IT... (My Dec 2007 Disney Vacation)

Hi Everyone, I will be back soon and respond to each of your posts, thank you everyone for stopping in, I just wanted to let my dispeeps know why I am MIA.
I was taken to emergency Dec 26th with major abdominal pain, a few tests later they told me I had a mass on one of my ovaries and was taken up to surgery right away, they found a 4 and 1/2 pound tumor on my ovary which had caused the ovary to twist on itself 5 times, so they had to remove the ovary. I am now home from the hospital and taking it easy. I am so grateful that this did not happen at Disney because I was having some pains while there, I am also grateful that my parents were still in town when this happened, they extended their stay and kept everything running smoothly while I was in the hospital. I still haven't made it to Coach's house to upload my pics onto photobucket, but I promise this TR will get done.
Meds are kickin in now so I will say goodnight for now, I will be back soon.

carri5317 Hello and welcome Honestly a trip to Disney during that time of year is awesome, the crowds were not that bad, I even went to some parks on a red day and never waited more than 10 minutes to ride. The longest wait was mission space at Epcot we waited 30 minutes. SO go, BOOK THE TRIP RIGHT NOW!

That was a pretty big tumor, I should have named it. The Doctor said it looked like a football.
10 pound tumors on the butt cheeks? you should get that checked out. eventually tumors take on wierd shapes ya know!

while i am a newbie on here I loved your story and followed it all the way to here...and thought I might add a postscript that I was amazed noone else had added....lol....all the weight of the box sitting on your uterus brought he pain to the front so see something good came from you having to hold that box

Hi Ty,
Here I am! I hope you are feeling MUCH better! I can't wait to hear all about your trip. We love to stay at the POP. And of course, Disney is our favorite place. I'm having major Disney withdrawals these days. We were there for Thanksgiving, just for a few days though. And there's no trip planned for the future. I am thinking I will need to squeeze something in for the next few months.
