Rumor - announcement next week

I heard that there is supposed to be an announcement of some sort next week.

Sorry, no more details than that... Because of the lack of further information I'm calling this a reliable rumor....

Usually when there is a big DVC announcement, we have staff meetings to alert us the day or so prior to the date.

We have no meetings scheduled.

I read a rumor that DVC was changing its name and logos to include "worldwide" or something similar in its name, and that they would be making an announcement to promote this new focus. The rumor said that the mountains would be removed from the logos.

Changing logos -- that sounds about right for a big announcement with no substance.

Maybe they will announce CRV while we are there!

DH will have to let us add on then. Its karma!

I don't know anyone who has received the planner.

I also heard the "worldwide" rumor and the demise of the mountains. What does everyone have against mountains? Although I guess with the exception of EE, SM, BTMR, and Splash, there really aren't any mountains near any DVC resorts. Maybe a Hawaiian volcano will added.

Where's the ski resort like Marriott? (Then we could keep the mountains in the logo.

Well, this is speculation on my part, but maybe the planners are late because it coincides with this "big" announcement. Can someone say CRV.

They are probably going to announce the construction of a "C" shaped building next to the Contemporary. The purpose of which to be announced at a later date.
