Not sure how reliable this reporter is but she says Disney says they are not submitting their plan today and they do not have a date set yet to submit the plan.
Correction: we will get news from universal then. Not necessarily when they will open. Now unsure if this is regarding their reopening or something else. Source being intentionally vague.
Amazing. Kinda like what I said 10+ pages back. Disney will submit a plan when they’re ready and have a plan ready. They’re not forced to submit one today. Not sure how reliable this reporter is but she says Disney says they are not submitting their plan today and they do not have a date set yet to submit the plan.

That’s why I am thinking this could be related to something else.Interesting since I thought they were supposed to announce a reopning date today.
Disney provided enough direction for 1 day. Week of Jun 7th cancelled. Great job team, go home til next Thursday. That is the one clear thing through all this. Disney is going to say something when they are ready to and not a minute before regardless of any outside pressure from fans, government, etc.

Their warnings on rides list the major risk factors.Disney will not start going into details and listing every condition possible and every person that's at risk. You then get into a grey area by singling people out. That's a no no.
Just like their warnings on rides they will be vague but at the same time stern.
I hope so. Because nothing is more ridiculous and counterproductive with regard to respiratory droplet spread than having to interact with a human to do what a machine can do.So now that CDC has said that virus is not easily spread on surfaces, do you think that can ease some of the rumored restrictions in regards to self-serve refillable stations, condiments at quick service and, oh I don't know, coffee pots in rooms???

I still don’t get the coffee pot thing. Makes no sense to remove them from rooms.
Kind of like when they removed clocks...They probably thought it was a sneaky way to save money!

Probably just comes down to something that can be removed fairly easily so there’s one less item to clean properly and disinfect.
To me it’s just kind of them acknowledging how gross hotel rooms can be even after being “cleaned” and how it doesn’t cut it during a pandemic.![]()
Florida needs Disney more than Disney needs Florida. But I also wouldn't be surprised if they're waiting to see what UO does in terms of measures so they can learn from peoples' reactions and adjust where necessary.
I mean it would take 10 seconds to wipe it down.
Edited - I was correctedAgree!
And perhaps people will be less nervous on rides to touch lap bars, etc. - and just make sure to wash hands after rides!
