Rumor about “modified experiences” when Disney reopens (read 1st post for potential modifications being considered)

The days of Disney laying it out at any price and having the guests snap it up are gone. Even before the virus problem, I saw room rates going through the ceiling! I can tell you, 1200 buck nights at the GF will never happen for us. Don't get me wrong, I have always loved WDW but not at overstuffed prices for food and rooms and not while wearing a mask in July! So take away the character interaction and the parades. Remove the casual dining, count us out!

We have a stay beginning July 18. Now to figure out if we'll actually be able to get in (they said you'll need a reservation, sounds similar to what they did for Shanghai - we have APs, but do have a resort reservation), and how we feel about being guinea pigs and wearing a mask with no fireworks, parades, shows, meet and greets, etc.

If I was doing it I would say a FP would count as a reservation. If you don't want to do a FP then have a place to make a reservation.

I would hope so...but as worst case scenario as this seems, I wouldn't count on it until they specify that. I'm hoping they're going to come back to that for details before they finish presenting.
