Rum Point Adventure and Stingray City

8 more days to go and I'm having second thoughts on selecting excursions at Grand Cayman.

I can't decide between Stingray City Sandbar OR Rum Point Adventure and Stingray City. Please help and thank you in advance!

I chose Rum Point and Stingray City under the activities on the DCL website and it says the excursion is from 815-315 (ship leaves around 4).
Will we have enough time getting back (I have a Palo reservation that evening so I am afraid we won't make it back in time)
How long does it take to get back to the ship from Rum Point?
Does it really take 7 hours for the excursion or are we able to leave after we return to Rum Point?
What else is there to do at Rum Point besides sunbathing?

Any comments, reviews about the excursion or opinion helps! Thank you in advance!!!

We loved this excursion and were planning to do it again but found out that the Fantasy isn't in port long enough so they don't offer it. This is a DCL excursion so you won't miss the ship but it really does take 7 hours. The catamaran ride is awesome! You first will take others to Rum Point to drop off. Then you will head out to Stingray City, which we loved! After that you head back to Rum Point beach. They have tables set up outside the restaurant and you just order off the menu and they serve you, which is included in the excursion. It was excellent food and choices. They also have a smoothie bar with a lot of choices of yummy smoothies. There is a sectioned off area of beach chairs just for Disney guests. We just played in the beautiful water but there were others snorkeling. We really weren't at the beach too long after we ate. Once agin, we loved the ride back on the catamaran. It was so relaxing. The end of a perfect day.
