rules on shirt designs in the parks

my sister got my brother-in-law a brown shirt...it has a golf club on it along with a golf ball...it says "19th hole"...in the middle of ther shirt, there is a glass of beer. do you think this is okay to wear in the parks?

they are all wearing brown shirts for one day, and this is the only brown shirt my brother-in-law has. otherwise, she'll have to go out and get another brown shirt if the "beer" design is not acceptable in the parks. there are no brand names at all...just a glass of beer with a golf club and golf ball.

Hm....I don't think beer will be bad. Once, my friend wore a shirt of a topless girl, with her arms covering herself up, and obviously he was sent back to change. & The funny thing was me and my other friend who was with us both knew they would tell him something about the shirt, but decided not to tell him (because he's stubborn anyways!) He learned his lesson I guess.

But since alcoholic beverages are served in DTD and DCA, I don't see why they would have a problem with a general t-shirt with a picture of beer on it. It doesn't have to be beer right? It could be root beer

Probably not, but it wouldn't be too hard to go buy a plain brown tee at Walmart or Michaels or Joanns for $5 either!

From what I understand of DL's dress code, is that so long as it doesn't have anything offensive to others who are entering the park it's accepted. Anything with offensive language, or show's an alarming amount of skin (won't get into details, but you get the general idea), will get the fashion police down on your case. It sounds like it should be fine, but if in severe doubt, bring along a cheap shirt that you can find at Michaels when they have the t shirts on sale just in case.

interestingly enough, the graphic tee was $5!...and the plain brown shirt was $5.99! i told my sis just to have a backup t-shirt in their backpack just in case.

And if he doesn't want to carry an extra "just-in-case" t-shirt around with him all day, he could just turn his shirt inside out if he's asked to change it.

he's seen folks with shirts turned inside-out in the parks...and he said he would never want to do that...so i think he's opting for either a different brown shirt (if my sis gets him one) or carrying a "just in case" shirt...hehe

first post on the dl boards ive been branching out of the college board as my dh and I are saving up for our second trip to disneyland(first as a married couple, our first trip together was when we were 15 for a band trip! )

Anyways, I used to work turnstiles at MK and we were told the different rules on what was allowed and what wasn't. I would agree with all the above posters and say that he should be fine with that shirt. I myself wouldnt have stopped him and made him change.

Also remember that Disney looks out for super revealing clothing(this was a big one we were told to look for). Please don't let anything hang out that shouldnt be. most of the time the reactions from people are just like ha ha ha.
