I remember from our last trip something about ages for riding alone or in the seat beside some one but do not remember specifics. Can anyone tell me these rules or a place to find them.

For example Barnstormer, I know all my children can ride, but last trip the rules dictated who could sit together and when both adults had to ride.

This trip the kids will be 13, 9, 7 and 7.

Thanks for any help!

Kids have to be 7 to ride alone. That's it. Your kids are fine.

7DMT was the exception to the 7 year old rule. For some reason that was the only ride that made my 8 & 4 year old (at the time) sit together in FRONT of me. Every other ride my 8 yr old rode alone and I rode with the 4 year old.

Since all of your kids are over 7, you can sit however you want.

7DMT may be different because they deliberately fill every empty seat with a single rider. Some may be uncomfortable having a very small child sitting next to someone they do not know.

I didn't know there is a 7 y o rule! What happens if a single parent travels with two young kids? I may take my kids without DH this summer. Luckily my oldest is turning 7! I thought my only problem will be that expedition Everest is DS's favorite ride and DS-4 will not be tall enough to ride.

Most rides have enough room to seat three across, so that's never been a major issue.

I had to deal with this on our last trip as it was just me with DS 8 and DD 4. I sat with DD while DS sat in front of us by himself on any rides that did not accommodate the 3 of us in 1 seat.
