Rude People on VMK

I hate when people are soo rude in VMK , that they have to bring it upon people they don't even know.
I was just playing pirates with a friend. We were beating them, and then one of them killed me. I sat and watched as my friend and this guy go to get the gold bombs. My friend gets them and kills the other guy, so the guy decides to call my friend "cheap". I thought this made no since at all since this kids going for the gold also.
So we enter level two from the first level to battle again. The guy starts saying "jk jk I'm Jk, Lol" so I'm thinking "Oh, well I guess it's alright since he's kidding."
Me and my friend win the second round, also.
Third round, my friend has to go afk, so he leaves me to battle these people. They corner me, shot, and I die. Well, that guy who called my friend cheap earlier says "To easy." "You stink"
I merely told him he was thought.ful and went on my way.
But boy this kids lucky he's not right in front of my face. It upsets me when these little kids get on and decide to be so rude!
I'm a kid, too, but theres no reason to act that way to people you don't know. For all you know, it could be your teacher, just waiting to give you loads and loads of homework for saying she stinks at a game.
Oh! And that brings me to yet another incident from earlier today.
Were playing falling chairs, and some girl is being nice and saying gg to everyone that gets out. So finally, this girl gets out. She asks to watch and goes in the roped off area. Then she starts saying "You stink, I hat you." and she got boot.
Have you ever had these kind of incidents? I don't get them that often, but they annoy the heck out of me when they happen. -_-

be careful when writing things like ### that happens in vmk. The DISboards have very strict rules about bypassing the word filter and thats what it looks like.

I sometimes feel that way too. Today after sinking someone in pirates (with black cannon balls) I was accused of cheating, which we all know is impossible. I decided to inject some humour into the situation and replied "all the time". I don't think they got it however, as they typed back that they were reporting me, which to me is a form of harassment in it self, and against vmk values. Anyways for the most part I try to ignore them, as these individuals aren't likely to be associated with vmk long (they will either get themselves banned or will quit).

I find the kind people in VMK far out number the rude.
When I do encounter someone rude, I do not feed in to it. I tend either ignore it, or say "Thanks!" It catches them off guard and does not feed in to their negativity.

In pirates I tend to play with only friends.

I'm a kid, too, but theres no reason to act that way to people you don't know. For all you know, it could be your teacher, just waiting to give you loads and loads of homework for saying she stinks at a game.

They said can't take a joke, but they did not say "joke" or "kidding". There will always be players who try to start something and then later something else. More often than not, they then try to cover there "ask".

Off topic, but u lost that first round? The way you said it, it seem like you won both rounds...or maybe it just sounded like that because of the editing.

No, we did win the first round, but we lost the second round, and in the third round my friend left the game because he went afk, and they beat me. So all in all, I lost.

but not as much. All the "tough wannabees" hang out there. I'm not
saying everyone who hangs out at the pirates lobby are like that, of course
not, but I'm just saying pirates has more rude people than the other games.

I have not had one game in pirates without some person doing that stuff,
which makes me not want to play that game..:

them and kill both of the pirate team members -
Pirate1: Cheap! Loss.her! You used gold!
Me: Um, yeah, because time had gone down and there was only gold left.

Almost every game I play of pirates involves some sort of this. Even without
gold it's always "you cheated" or "you got lucky" or "you stink you can't
play this game" OR from someone who is dead "that's not the
way you play this game!"

I get the same thing all the time! It's like just because you're better than the person you are playing against you are automatically dubbed a cheater. I say this a lot and I'm going to say it again: 'People honestly amaze me.' Because it's like, you can win, and they call you a cheater, however if they win. They "own" you and are perfectly "good people" it's a growing problem and the people who act like this are just not fair, they figure since you beat them they have to come up with a remark. I think people in general are becoming worse, not just in games but in general. Like tonight for example. I came on and these girls were all gathered around this one other girl, I had wondered what was going on. And then I realized, they were fighting. I don't even know how it started, they were shouting - in their own ways - at each other names by dodging the dictionary, and it went on for about 10 before me and a few others reported them. But it didn't stop there, I don't even think they had gotten a warning from Staff. And it went on for about another 35 minutes before they left. I have noticed things like this a lot in VMK. But on the brightside, there's a lot of very nice and good people on VMK.

I rarely get that, but if I do, I quit. I always play with nice people, my friends and people I don't know. The worst I've gotten was he tried to block my way, but he apologized later. So, NO BIG DEAL. However, I enjoy Pirates, Capture the flag.

Ah, happens to me all the time. Depends what mood i'm in, i'd usually say: "Oh totally! o_o;" or "Thats impossible.. but okay?" I usually don't talk during games, sort of my own way to boycott the chat but if things get out of hand I try to settle it.
