We were in It's Tough to be a Bug and not one, but TWO men in our row (one on either end) had video cameras. One was right next to me. They both whipped them out pretty much as soon as we all sat down and immediately a CM came and asked them both to put them away. They did - for about 30 seconds. The man next to me shut the video screen off on his and resumed filming, until his child needed his attention and then he put it away. The guy at the other end just whipped his out again as soon as the CM was back at the end of the row. I know, because his video screen was VERY bright.
I know there are people who miss, don't know or don't understand the rules and I'm more than happy to cut those folks some slack. But clearly this was a case of someone that had been told what the rules were and understood them in that moment (he put the camera away when asked). And then decided that not only did the rules not apply to him, it didn't matter one iota if what HE wanted (to tape the show illegally) would interfere with the viewing by all those people behind him.
Wanna bet that video ended up on YouTube? <ugh>
