I just got back from Ruby Tuesdays. I took my dad for some tests and a cat scan and they told him he had to eat right away to flush his system of the dye medium. So with Ruby Tuesday's right near the Dr we checked it out.
All I can say is YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!
I had the Church Street Chicken. It was a little dry, without the mushrooms and cheese it would have been terrible but that helped it out a little.
The Califlower was to die for. I could have eaten twice as much of that and skipped the big hunk of steamed brocolli. It was creamy and very smooth, and the flavor was yummy. I could just barely taste the califlower. I definately need to try and recreate it at home.
The brocolli was just that, steamed brocolli. Nothing on it at all. I asked for some butter and they did bring it because it was very bland without it. The bunch they brought was huge, I ate less than 1/2 of it.
The menu did look nice, but I still can't see some of the foods being considered "low carb". To me wasting 24 carbs on a fajita is too much, that is almost my entire daily carb allotment. I will stick to the 14 carb or below, but to have a big meal, that I don't have to cook, that is within the guidelines for low carb is FANTASTIC!!!!!
Now I have a place I can go to without watching everyone else eat good food while I chew on my dry chicken or beef.
Thanks for sharing this with us Jody. Peggie
