Were going to DL with 2 small children, so wondering if it's quicker to do single rider line or do the rider switch? And how does the rider switch pass work? Do you need a fp?

It depends on how long the lines are. If single rider is less than half as long as the regular line, it will be faster to go through that twice instead of the regular line once, then the FP line for the second rider.

Ask at the entrance for a rider swap pass, they hand you a lanyard, then when you get to the merge you'll get the actual pass. You can do with with the regular line, or with a FP

How many adults are with you? I would opt to get a RS pass and have the first person ride SR, then the next person(s) go through the FP line. You will not need a FP if you go this route or if everyone uses the SR line.

You could get 1 FP, then child swap, then get 1 FP for something else. But if you use the swap with single rider, which every FP ride but ToT has, then you're not tied to a 1 hour window.
