Our PhotoPass pictures are set to expire in a few days, and I was just on the app downloading the pictures when I realized I do not have our RSR picture. I think we were all excited when we got off the ride that none of us remembered to snap a picture of the code. Is it too late to contact someone to see if we can still get the picture? I know the date and approximate time that we rode the ride.

I do not know the answer, sorry! I do think it's too late though. They process so many pictures every day.

As a follow-up, I saw in the app last night that I could message them about it. I filled out a form including date, time, ride, and what we were wearing. We’ll see what happens.

If the pictures are still there they will find them for you. They'll reach out and ask if you remember what time you rode and what clothes you were wearing.

We have had to have them recover photos for us from DL and WDW. They have always been able to find them!! I think they will find it. I think you can usually upload another photo of your party from that day, approximate time, and they can find it!!

For RSR, we usually designate one person to take a photo of the TV with the photo number on it. This way we can enter the number in the app later when we are at the hotel or resting (and not rushing to the next ride!).

Yes, that is what we did for the other rides that have photos. Honestly, I think we are so used to wearing our Magic Bands at Disney and not having to worry about taking a photo to get the number and when we got off the ride we were excited and talking about it and just never thought to take the picture.

***Update***

I heard back from Disney today and they were able to locate the ride photo and they uploaded it to my Disneyland app, so all is good.

Ah, okay, thanks. So at Disneyland, one takes a photo of the photo on the ride exit screens and then you use your Photopass subscription to retrieve it later by its ID number?

Yes. Or you can stop right there and enter the photo number into the app, but you have to be quick as they cycle through them quickly as other groups behind you come off the ride.

On SM this summer, my Dad was moving very slowly and they offered us the accessible car. We took that but when you get off of the ride, it takes much longer than just jumping out of your seat and heading up the stairs. By the time we got up there, the screens were on to other groups after us on the ride, so we could not see our photo. We asked at the little counter right there by the screens, and they said we would need to go to the photo services outside of DL to have them retrieve the photo based on the time we rode it. I was skeptical, but this worked and they easily found the photo (made easier by the fact that we were all there in the same clothes, etc, at the photo shop, and I had noted the exact time we got off the ride).
