RSR is down...maybe for awhile

They are selling RSR ILL today. for our DCA day next Sunday.

The days that RSR have been down have had horrible wait times for the other rides. DCA really needs another people eater. If they can’t build another big attraction right now, they could do another show at the Hyperion. Something!

RSR holds DCA together. When it goes down it puts too much stress on everything else. I hope they move forward with the “Avengers E ticket” attraction. DCA needs another heavy hitter. And yes, a show at the Hyperion would also really help.

Do they have room for this? I assume it would eat up more backstage real estate?

Avengers Campus is pretty packed as is and while it doesn't have a lot, it doesn't actually have much room when looking at maps to cram something else big in there. Web Slingers probably was hampered some by physical space limits.

We got our ILL today for RSR and we we two people away from getting in the ride vehicles when it went down again. They said it would be a minimum 1 hr if not 2 hr wait until it was back up. They gave us a MEP, hoping we can still ride it today. We were planning to do DL tonight so we will see if its still up later when we try again.

The original headliner for AC was supposed to be an attraction in (and presumably behind) the Avengers Headquarters building. They "delayed" the project for now with rumors going both ways as to whether it will be revived in the future or not. AC opening soon at DLParis does have another attraction.

Totally agree. DCA with RSR down was such a disaster on Saturday. And since you can’t hop until 1pm, your stuck in the mess.

Well we were able to ride it. We wentback around 4 and it was up. Really fun but glad we did the ILL because people were waiting standby for 2+ hours and I dont think any ride is worth that

Yesterday was interesting, they were taking ROTR standby up until 10pm! We got in line at 9:30pm and were riding by 10:15pm. I wonder if they were pushing the ride because of the other operational difficulties everywhere else.

They were running B mode for ROTR (no lightsaber through the ceiling, Kylo Ren on a spaceship outside the blow out room), but I was pleasantly surprised we were even able to standby it.

I wonder if RSR going down all day had to do with it running until 2am that day because of grad nite? That poor ride, hardly a break in 10 years, it's tired.

ROTR went till 10 PM last Monday even though Racers was open.

Nice, is the ride just becoming more reliable? I always thought it fell asleep with its mouth open on the lounger sometime between Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.

eh , no. It was down from
about 10am till almost 3….I thinknthey did that to get people on the ride at all….
