I have read conflicting reports about sending a runner to get FP for RSR. If our family enters Disneyland with early entry, can we then send my teenaged son to get fastpasses for RSR once California Adventure opens? Or do we all need to enter California Adventure in order to get fastpasses? Thanks!

Yes, you can do that. The tickets just have to be activated at one park that day.

If you're all over 7 and feel good about it, you could even consider doing Single Rider instead of FPs.

(my family has never gone through the normal or FP line for RSR; we have used SR for every single ride)

As others have said, as long as the ticket has been used to enter one of the parks, you can get FPs in either park. I did this in October; my group remained in Disneyland and I hopped over to DCA to get RSR and WoC FPs.

(Caveat: I've always wondered if this technique worked if guests had a non-hopper ticket. Let's say, one person in the group had a non-hopper ticket, could their ticket still be used to get a FP in the other park even though they could not hop with the rest of the group? I've never had non-hopper tickets to test this.)

The tickets will scan. He has to be 14 or over to enter a park alone. If he looks like he's about that age I'd prepare him to be questioned and show ID if he has it.

That's great!!! He's 17 so that shouldn't be a problem for him to enter alone. We all have parkhoppers so we should be ok there too. Thanks!!

Laurie

You bet.....just activate all of your tickets in one park and then send him running for your RSR FP.

Have fun!!
