RPR vs The Poly

Just returned from a great trip that included 4 nights at RPR and 6 at The Polynesian Resort in Disney. This was our first Universal trip and it was wonderful. I will start posting trip reports soon but any specific questions please let me know, we also managed to fit in a day at Kennedy Space Center and Coco beach.

I've stayed at all three Universal Orlando resorts and even though RPR is the "cheapest" of the three, it's absolutely my favorite. At the top of my wish list at Disney is the Poly so very interested in hearing how it compares? I certainly don't expect RPR to surpass a Disney Deluxe resort but curious nonetheless!

We stayed at the RPR in 2007, and loved it. My parents stayed concierge at AKL for one night about 6 months later (anniversary present), and the RPR room was every bit as nice as the AKL room was. So from a purely hotel-room perspective, I'd consider RPR to be on par with a Disney deluxe resort. The RPR pool was also at least as nice as the AKL pool IMHO.
