Greetings all,
Has anyone ever stayed in Tower 1, rooms 1549 & 1551 at the RPR. Curious as to what kind of view these rooms have, also have these rooms already been renovated ? Thanks for any comments......

Hi TB1.

If you haven't checked out this thread yet: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=616763 this is a great thread on all RPR rooms members have been in.

Posting #5 by motherfletcher gives a wonderful, detailed description of how the rooms/hallways are laid out in Tower 1. Looks like your room number will face the parking lot??

On other posts, I have read all rooms should be renovated now. But since I haven't been there yet, can't be sure.

HTH Have a great trip!

TB1,
We just returned from RPR on Thursday, and stayed in 1547. I would assume your view will be the same. Our view was partially obstructed by a palm tree, and there are several against that wall so you may have the same experience. Our window looked out on a small length of waterway (think stream), and the front covered walkway to the main entrance. If we looked to the left we could see what looked to be the parking garage, and if we stood ALL the way at the right edge of the window and looked ALL the way to the left, we could see the very tops of Dr Doom. We actually didn't realize it was Dr Doom until we were looking at that ride in the park and said, "Oh so THAT'S what we saw!"
Seriously, not a wonderful view but we really didn't mind it. The room was far from the elevators but close to the ice machine and close to the stairway exit which brings you out by the walkway to Citywalk. The 2 rooms you mention should be even closer to the stairs IIRC. The room was "renovated" I think, at least it had the new bedding design, but no flat screen TV yet.
Just curious how you know in advance which rooms you will have?

Hello MrsMud,
I was told that our rooms have been pre-blocked and they are supposed to be park views. Hmmm......
