RPR resort Parking

Is there any security at the RPR parking lot? We will be driving to Universal from Texas and will probably arrive before our room is ready. I want to leave our stuff in the car. Would this be a problem? Do they have a lot of problems with break ins?

The parking area is patroled by security and they do have cameras.
When you check in put your luggage inside at the baggage claim area.Its free and they will put in your room when its ready.Why make the long walk when you can stow your luggage when you arrive,another great benifet of staying on-site.But when I ask them to bring my stuff to the room I tip them.
Or you can do the mile walk between your car and room!!

We are heading there from Texas also the Week of July 26! Late decision, trying to book everything now.

We will be at universal the 19 and 20 then off to Disney World. I hope it won't be as hot as it has been here.
