i always stay at a deluxe resort and with my florida resident discount, it comes out to less then my stays at the hard rock in universal and it includes free parking- i like universal resorts, just never liked the fact that i had to pay for parking, guess its just me
Paying for parking stinks at hotels/resorts, period! I travel frequently for business and have become used to paying parking fees, mainly in cities. I will be paying $30 day for parking at Loews in Santa Monica for a business trip in two weeks. Ugh! I think I have become immune to the fees (especially when paid for by my employer) but I can definitely understand the frustration from vacationers who normally do not come across a parking fee. I know WDW doesn't charge for parking but their resort rates are definitely higher for comprable accomdations when compared to US. It is evident they have the parking fees included in their rates as Damo stated.
