So we were talking last night and this morning about mkaing our wedding trip 3 weeks long so our actual honeymoon is 2 weeks and not the 8 days we currently have.

I thought it'd be nice to have afew nights at a US resort.

They are quoting me almost $300/night for a standard room.......

Is that normal? I'm not leaving Disney if that's the case!

It's normal. I've done a one-nighter at both RPR and HRH and I'm planning on doing the same this year (at RPR again). It's expensive but it's a nice change of scenery, plus the FOTL passes come in handy.

It might be worth holding out for an offer, if you're planning on staying for a few nights. :thumbsup2

See this thread for what others have paid for your month, I see someone has paid $131 Sept 23-28th on the Stay more, save more rate.

I am on that list for August, 3 nights, booked when they had a glitch on their site, $152/night but I am hoping they bring out an AP rate to reduce it, just now the AP offer is from $104/night but doesn't go as far as August.

You need to check AAA rate(AA membership can be bought for about £9), AP rate(might be worth buying 1 AP) and any seasonal offers.

Thanks everyone.

I priced up the three weeks, subbing BLT for BW and it's only £300 more compared to only two weeks.

Showed Jack the plans, he said "What's RPR?" I told him and he instantly said "I'm not leaving Disney!" :lmao:

Thanks for the input anyway! :rotfl: I can't believe he was a Disney disliker 2 years ago and now he won't consider anywhere but.

Am looking for a good RPR rate too. For our dates it's a bit less than your dates but still hoping for cheaper.

Am just worried that staying there the first night, will make our Disney hotel seem not as nice in comparison :(

I stayed at HRH at the beginning of our last trip (I booked it before I spoke to people on the DIS who advised me to do the Universal hotel last) - this trip we are ending our holiday at Universal, as it is so hard to go back to the queueing at Disney after having the front of the line access at Universal - plus the Universal hotels are gorgeous!!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Yep that's my exact fear.
Tho whatever it sure beats not being in Florida :lmao:
