My 24 & 26 yo daughters and I will be staying here in Sept for 3 nights. We are flying and bringing only a carry on each, no checked bags. What toiletries are provided in the standard queen/queen room at RPR? Just planning what will need to be packed or purchased and what we can skip. Thanks :)

Shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, Qtips, cotton wool and obviously soaps.

If you need more of anything call star services and they will bring you what you need.

I forgot to bring toothpaste one time and star services provided me with some, no problem.

Great, thank you! Tony Hinds is our transportation and will make a stop for us, just making sure I have what we need. Thanks :)

That's a shame, I loved the bamboo one they used to give!

I like the bottles the new stuff comes in but can't stand what's in the bottles. Why did they drop Lather? Why?

Thanks! To be totally honest, I have never stayed at anything BUT a value... think Pop Century as my gold standard ;) So RPR is a HUGE upgrade for us. I had initially planned offsite, then was thinking Cabana, but due to my 24 yos epilepsy we opted for RPR as it is closer and should she seize we can get her back to that hotel easier than our other options. Looking forward to all the perks :)

Probably a business deal.

No doubt, but to my nose it reeks. So perfumey. Can't use it! It's like the basic H2O products at the WDW values, etc. I can only do the "sea marine" green stuff.

It's sad. End of a wee era for us. :)

i have a draw full of the bamboo items that used to be at rpr.
each visit things just sort of jump into my suitcase.

if you love the bamboo items, i'll bring them with me on my fall trip and give them to anyone that wants them.

op, if there is something you do forget to bring for your trip, call star service from your hotel room.
they will bring any of the basics you need.
soap, shampoos, toothbrush, toothpaste, razors, lotions, etc.
it is a free service for all hotel guests.

star service button will be on your room phone.
direct line
they also will bring extra blankets, pillows, sheets, etc which helps if you are making a pallet on the floor in your room for someone.

Wow! That is great! This will be our first time ever staying at a deluxe hotel, as I said Pop was our high end so far :) I can not WAIT to get there with my girls. To top it off my younger daughter is responding AWESOMELY to her new therapy and we think there is a good, no a GREAT chance she may be seizure free by the time we arrive in Sept!!!!!

That is such good news about your daughter!! You must be over the moon she is responding well.

I pray it continues.......you will love RP I'm sure.....we won't stay anywhere else when we are in Orlando :cloud9: We are made to feel like returning family members every year.

We have stayed in many hotels around the world over the years, but there's never been such a warm welcoming feeling in any of them that we get when we are at RP. So I truly hope you and your daughters love it :wave2:

that is fantastic news that the new therapy is successful so far!
all of us moms are happy when our children's medical conditions improve like that.
thinking good thoughts that she will be seizure free soon.

it's still a great idea to stay at the hotel that is very close to the parks.
if you are at the parks all day, it's a short hop back to the hotel.

Just so you know..... we just got back from a stay at RPH. While the sizes of the toiletries were really nice, I found I didn't like the scent of any of them. This may be the first stay in years that I haven't taken at least one night's worth of items to bring home (usually give to a shelter). My son used the shampoo and said it was fine.
