RPR - Luau

Do I need advance reservations for the Luau at RPR?

Yes, I would advise it. A couple years ago in October, we decided to wait until we arrived at our hotel (Hard Rock Hotel) before booking the luau and we missed out. So last year, I made our reservation a month before we arrived and had no problems.

I made our reservation prior to arrival 4 years ago, it was very good, and the food was excellent, get down to the queue area about 5pm they say after 5:30, but there was lots of people there when we got down, so get down early and register your name.
The last 3 years ,they have been offering the Luau to me at RPR , but did not bother, considering doing it again when we are there next week, but if its not available , its no big deal.

Is it an outside dinner? Just wondering if it would be too hot/uncomfortable in July...

Any thoughts?

Its in the Pavillion at RPR, it is covered and was ok when we went in July, have some pics somewhere if i can find them.
