Can anyone tell me how the breakfast and dinner buffets are? Is it worth the price? What characters have you seen there?

we were there in May and tried the dinner buffet. It was very dissappointing. The selection was limited and they did not refill the food containers. The only beef dish they had that night was pepper steak, and all the steak was picked out of it when we got there and it was never refilled.I would just order from the menu next time.We have had the breakfast buffet before and it was good

Thanks. Think I'll do what you suggest and just do the breakfast buffet. :thumbsup2

The breakfast buffet at the Island Dining Room is good but expensive at $15 per person. For a cheaper alternative, breakfast sandwiches can be purchased at both parks. At IOA, the restaurant is the Croissant Moon Bakery, and at US, the restaurant is Beverly Hills Boulangerie. For the sweet tooth people who like cinnamon rolls, there are two Cinnabons located on property, one in Citywalk near the US entrance, and the other in IOA.

I just booked dinner at the Islands Cafe for a Monday and Tuesday evening in August and was told that it is not a buffet dinner on those evenings (except for the kids if they choose) and the characters will be Scooby-Doo and Shaggy on Monday and Shrek and Fiona on Tuesday. :)
