Is there anyway to get RPR for under 200.00 per nite ? I called res. to book a trip for April 2008 and found out the rates were 259.00 plus 12.5% tax, my goodness can't afford that, but would love to be able to stay there and take my doggie, has anyone lucked up on a better price and could you please share? Thanks Alot

I got a FL resident rate of $159.00 per nite for Dec 17-20 2008 but that wont help you.

Try booking through AAA or sign up for the Loews card (its free) and try to book a room w/ your Loew's number.

Also USF has a 7 day ticket for only $87.00 on their website, this may help save you money that you can use on your room.

If your trip is around Easter, you probably will not get under $200/nite. We stayed the end of June/beginning of July this past summer.... we paid $191/nite w/ AAA (unfortunately, that was before the taxes :sad2: ) FL resident rate (if you are one) is good, then Supersaver (at UO site), then AAA or AP rate. Oh, and AAA rates aren't out for next year yet....sometime this month tho.

We paid $124 + tax this APril (AP rate) - but that was midweek & not at Easter

Is the Easter break next year from around the 15th March to 29th March, and not April

It's not any type of holiday whenever we are trying to go in April, I do know Easter is in March next year, I'm flexible on my dates, so that wouldn't have been a problem anyway. I did order a Loews card and called today to see if there would be any type of discount for having it, but she said with that type of card Loews Blue you can receive an upgrade if it's available at checkin, not any discounts on hotel rates, well heck I can't even afford the standard room  I do have AAA but their rates aren't out yet and I don't think it would be much more that 10% ( just guessing ) but still couldn't afford that :rolleyes1 .

Spring break in April? :confused3 If it's a slower time of the year, AAA or Supersaver (or AP) rate will be your best bet, but like you mentioned, not out yet. You can always book your room and hope for a cheaper rate. You have 5 days before arrival to cancel without penalty.

Where do I sign up for a Lowes card? :confused3
Thanks!
