Hi. We're staying at RPH Sunday night. I hear there's a minibar. We don't want any of the minibar stuff, but can we put our own stuff in the fridge? Just a bit of milk.

Also, we want to be at IOA for early entry rope drop. Is it best to walk or take the boat?

Thanks!

the mini bar will keep things cool.
if you want milk to be kept cold, you can rent a fridge.
call star service from your room phone to order that.
it's a first come, first serve situation.

some will buy a styrofoam chest, fill it with ice and let it sit in the tub.

if you move things out of the mini bar you take the chance of having charges.
the TM does a quick look and count of the items and could make an error thinking something has been used in the mini bar.

if you miss the boat, it is a short walk to the parks from the hotel.

i prefer taking the boat.
i can be lazy in the morning.

As the pp said the mini bar is not a fridge at all. We take a small chest to keep our water bottles cold.

ETA we like to walk for early entry. The walk is so nice first thing in the morning.

I am another that appreciates a cooler. We also walk - we do take boats when we stay at PBH at the end of the day, sometimes.:)

Be at the gate 15 minutes prior to rope-drop.

I kept one of those single serving (8oz) milk cartons in the minibar fridge at HRH but that was about it.

I just need a little splash of milk for my breakfast tea in the morning so this was enough.

As others have stated and in my opinion you won't get anything bigger in there without moving the minibar items around or out.
