So, the royal wedding invites have been sent out. Anyone got theirs yet?:rotfl:

Seriously is anyone planning to travel to London to watch it, or like me are you just going to watch it from the comfort of home? Just wondered!!:goodvibes

Claire

Wills called me at the weekend to tell me mine is on it's way, not here yet though. :confused3 :lmao:

I will be watching it from my sofa, no way will I be battling the crowds. :scared1:

I will not be going to london or watching it on tv, i live near to Kates parents and they are having a street party etc for it. I am going to go out shopping for the day instead

A number of local authorities in Scotland have stated that the 29th will not be a Public Holiday. Waiting to see if our area follows suit.

Hope that plenty of people stay at home to watch this just like Charles and Diane, as it will make the commute to work a breeze :goodvibes

As it's a public holiday and not a bank holiday the powers that be where I work have decided that we can have a day off but we can't close the unit so a few people can have the 29th and the rest of us can take another day. So it looks like I'll be working!

I will be in Munich! Booked it before the wedding was announced, really pleased as it's a bank holiday I don't need to take the day off as leave!!

I think my invite must still be in the post :rolleyes1

If I'm not doing anything, then I will watch it on TV ::yes::

Probably will be working but even if i'm not I won't be watching.

I'm looking forward to a 3 day week ::yes:: and watching it on TV. I must admit I'm a sucker for a bit of pomp and circumstance and no-one's better at that than Britain.

I will be watching it at home. Our local council has decided not to have a holiday for it so all schools will be open :sad2: my dd however will be at home with me as she is very excited to watch a real princess wedding :rotfl2:. My 2 boys were not going to watch it but all of a sudden they have decided they really want to stay off school and watch it too :rotfl:

I might watch if not doing anything :goodvibes

I'll watch it in between getting my hair done for a real Princess wedding I'm going to the day after - that being my darling Auntie :lovestruc

I'm torn between wanting to watch a bit of history and heading for a theme park to beat the queues.;) I watched Charles and Di get married, so I sort of feel obliged to watch this one too.:rotfl:

Where my parents live they're having a street party for all their friends and family and everyone must wear a hat! Hoping I can find something over the top on Ebay!

They always do something for different celebrations - any excuse for a party!

I remember watching Charles & DI get married but not sure I could sit through the whole thing. Once I've see her in her dress that will probably be enough - although having said that there is a chance they get the names wrong - lets face it that was hilarious! :rotfl:

one of the lucky ones who has the day off. Will definitely be watching it - if only to say in 20 years time do you remember the day ........................

Think it's a good excuse for an old-fashioned knees up but I'm sure it won't be in the league of the Queen's silver jubilee or Charles and di's wedding as they seemed to take over the country in a way we don't see anymore. :(

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone if planning on purchasing the Pandora Royal Wedding Charm Bead that is currently on pre-order. I live here in the USA and I have been told that it is exclusive to the UK. I really want this charm for my bracelet and I was wondering if anyone could purchase one for me (i can pay via paypal) send it to the US. I guess Pandora won't let the UK authorized dealers to send their bead overseas. I know this is a long shot but I thought I would throw it out there. Thanks for listening.

Kathleen

Hi Kathleen, OP here!
I didn't even know that Pandora were doing a royal wedding charm!
I'll have a look out for it for you, and then if I manage to track one down you can explain to me how pay pal would work!

I'll be in touch

Hi Rachel, thanks for that - thats the website i looked at!
Do you have any Pandora stockists in your area where you could help this lady out? I know the website said that it had to be pre ordered so am not sure if you will just be able to go and buy one in a shop anyway? :confused3

We don't have any pandora stockists that i know of in Northampton there is only the Camillia ones in H Samuel etc and the really cheap ones!

Claire :)

Hi Kathleen, as you can see from the posts bbetween Rachel and I we know what you are talking about!
Bear with me and we'll see if we can get something sorted. The Pandora charms are not released until April 18th and yes I did see on the website that they won't ship overseas :confused3
Did you know that Chamillia (which fit onto Pandora) have a royal engagement charm which is like the engagement ring. You may like to chek it out!

Claire :)
