I booked CRT on ou ddp with a credit card guarantee. We plan on paying opp for this meal. When we check in will 2 credits be taken off for CRT or will we have the option to pay while at the restaurant? Thanks for any info!

I am pretty sure that at CRT they charge your credit card up front for the full amount of the meal. At least thats what happened when we made the reservation a few months ago, it is already paid for on my card. If you want to use your dining credits you need to call and tell them so they can refund your card.

Think the OP is saying they weren't charged since they had a dining plan associated?

If that's the case, just let them know when you check in and they'll take care of it. They may need to see your card to swipe it before you eat, but you'll be fine. I'm sure they get stuff like this all the time

Just came back from our trip and we had an awesome time at CRT. The credit card was just a hold. We did use to the deluxe dining plan. But we just told them we were on the dining plan once we got there. You will be able to pay OOP once you get there.

Yes, I think it's just a hold when you have DDP. You pay at the end, either with your card for DP or with a credit card. They don't charge anything when you check in. (Based on my experience!)

Just remember that the tip is already included in the final price. We paid at the end of our meal last month. I left my husband in charge of paying, but forgot to remind him that the tip was included in the total... so he ended up double tipping!
