Hi,

Any comments about this resorts ?
Specially about the sofa beds, are they confortable ?
The breakfast... is it ok ? kids eat for free right ?

Also are the shuttles frequent ? Fast? comfy ;)

Is it best to walk to downtown disney and grab a shuttle from there ?

Thanks all !

Hi!

I just returned from a stay at the Royal Plaza and while I can't answer your question about breakfast or the sofa beds, I can recommend the hotel's bus service. It was reliable and comfortable. As for the walk to DTD it was very fast and easy..but if you prefer there are buses that begin service to DTD at 6pm. I've enclosed a link to my hotel review in case you didn't see it. I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you might have.
(ps..the beds themselves were very comfy!)

I was there in January for 1 night. As for the sofa beds, my friend took one look at them and went and got a 2nd room, we were there with 4 adult males, and decided it was not suitable, even for 1 night.

As far as walking to DTD, it's really too far to walk unless you're up for a fairly long walk, certainly not worth it to walk to DTD then catch a shuttle to WDW (which don't start running from DTD until 10am).

The rooms were nice though, as hotel rooms go, I just think you can do a lot better value for your money renting a vacation home than a hotel room.

We never saw a free breakfast there, maybe we missed it, but we had to pay for our coffee in the morning in the lobby.

I love how people's idea of far or easy varies. :lmao: My daughter and I enjoyed the walk to DTD and I really didn't think it far at all...maybe this was because we were two adults. Perhaps if I had a small child I might have thought otherwise.

But to clarify a point...there is no bus from DTD that goes to WDW..the buses only go to the RESORTS.

I was there with 4 adult males and we decided it was too far to walk to go to Pleasure Island at night..hehe. No kids on that trip even!
