Royal Plaza or other DTD hotel?

1 night stay prior to checking in Contemporary. I'm thinking about staying at one of the hotels by DTD. My DGD can get a discount through work at Royal Plaza. How is that one? Which one of the "good neighbor" hotels are the easiest walk to DTD? TIA

The closest hotel is probably the Hilton (DTD is just across the street)and we were very happy with our stay there! We have also stayed at the Royal plaza hotel many times we love all the summer activities they usually have going on, I would add that the tower rooms are the only way we would stay there, the standard rooms are in another side of the hotel that hadn't been renovated... Tower rooms and rest of the property was pretty nice, we have probably stayed there at least 10 times! Good luck!
