Royal Plaza - DTD

Does anyone have any opinions/review for the Royal Plaza in Downtown Disney? We're thinking of staying here for 1 night before we check into POP but wanted to see what others thought of it before I make a reservation.

Pros : Royal Plaza are the best hotel i´ve ever stay at in Florida.(out of 9.)
In the bathroom, they have an awesome roman tub.
Very clean room.
Use to advertise themselves as "the place Burt Renolds" stayed when in Disney World.

Cons : The pool are not that big.

Funny experience i had at that place.
The pc in the lobby had a 7 dollar fee for using it for 30,min, i asked the resection girl if i can check if my flight as on time, she smiled and says "sure", and when i asked if im gonna pay for the usage in advance or after she says its ok, use it for free.
But the pc needed a password to logg on,so she needed the security guy for the password.
When he arrived, he says its 7 dollar, i says "she said....."
He Says NO.
Anyways, i still got it for free then i was done ,and he was gone.

You should have stayed there for more days.

We love it, and stay there at least once a month, if not twice! Its very convenient to everything, and I love the size of the rooms, especially the bathrooms!

You should book it - I don't think you'll be disappointed. We spent a week there this past fall. We were originally booked at CBR with AP rate but got an awesome rate through mousesavers for RP than included buffet breakfast & upgraded room so we switched. We also love DTD, expecially in the evenings for dinner, etc. so this hotel was a bonus (including the $200 we saved on accomodations!).

My mom and grandmother and my brother and his wife are staying there this March when we are at beach club. I highly recommend booking thru priceline...although you wont be able to know ahead of time which hotel you are getting you can know what area and the star rating. The just got their rooms for $55 a night!!!! It looks really beautiful and Im so happy for them!
