Royal Plaza at Downtown Disney

This might be the wrong forum but has anyone stayed here? I'm staying this weekend and it's my first time at this hotel. I was just wondering if anyone can share their experiences with me. Thanks!

We stayed at the Royal Plaza for 3 nights a couple of years ago. We thought it was nice enough - we liked it better than our one night at POP Century. We did not use their transportation to the parks - we had our own car. The pool was kinda small, but nice enough. The bathroom in our room was huge. The room was very clean, and included a chair that folded out to a single bed. I would stay there again if I needed to.

We stayed there in Febuary in a deluxe tower room. It's a very nice hotel. The rooms were larger than WL or AKL and much nicer. The bathroom was huge with a jaccuzzi tub. The rooms were very clean, nice bedding and we also had a pull out sofa with a little sitting area. The hallways and elevators looked a little worn but we enjoyed our stay. It was definitely worth the $109 a night rate we payed.

I stayed there a few years back and I liked it just fine. The room was very spacious and it's proximity to DTD was nice. I didn't use the pool so I can't comment on that, but I did use the buses which were fine. The only drawback there was that the return bus stops were often placed in awkward spots in the parking lot.
The quick service food was good, as was the coffee. The sit down restaurant wasn't very good at all in my opinion, however my daughter who was 19 (I think) at the time enjoyed the food she had so take that with a grain of salt.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay there very much and I'd stay there again.

Please note we paid extra for the microwave.
