Please can anyone offer some assistance.

We are staying at RPH next year, and been offered tower 1, 7th floor facing the IofA theme park OR if I pay an extra nominal fee of £35 for 6 nights (assume not per night) we can have a pool view.

Can anyone suggest which would be my best option. Has anyone stayed in tower 1, 7th floor?

thanks for any help

Hi,

We have stayed at Royal Pacific in tower 1 with a pool/lagoon view...it was excellent.

We have also stayed at Portofino with a park view.

Either view at Royal Pacific will be wonderful. Go for the cheaper and spend your extra money on something fun while you are there.

Here is a view from room 1749 which is in tower 1 7th floor. This is a standard view room. You really can't go wrong regardless of view~ :p

Anyone know why this pic shows up as a link rather than an image?

We just got back yesterday and stayed in Tower 1 ,7th floor, room 1708. It had a great view of the pool and lagoon. Not too far from the elevator and was quiet. Beautiful resort!

Mary,

Welcome back! Were you upgraded at the hotel as you had hoped to be? Please post a trip report if you have time!

JOC:
We could have been upgraded to an executive suite for $35/night. Myself and the CRO decided it really wasn't worth it. It wouldn't have given us any more beds(we had 5 in our party and youngest slept on the floor). It offered a king bed and a pull-out sofa. I didn't want to have to pull out/in the sofa every day. I also loved the view of our standard room and thought I should just be satisfied with that. I didn't bother checking the rest of the week for we were enjoying our stay and didn't want to pack up and move. It was neat though knowing we could have gotten one. If they would have offered that room at club level I would have done it. I posted a trip report if you want to check it out!
