Royal Pacific self parking?

I prefer to self park, I know that I have a charge of 12.00, but do I pay at the front desk, is there a gate when you pull in to the resort or do you pay when you leave. On check out day, can I leave the car at the hotel until I leave the park, I would guess it would be 5 or 6 pm

Parking is $15 and it will be added to your bill. It is paid nightly so you have two full days of parking. Just hang on to your key as it will let you out of the parking lot when you finally leave.

Mine was actually $15.98 total at Hard Rock Hotel. The last time I stayed at RPH it wasn't this way (meaning the arm you had to get through - before you just drove in and out, and I'm sure some people didn't pay the self parking fee), but I'm guessing they've installed the same parking arrangement there.

When you check-in, tell the front desk that you did self parking, and they'll add it to your bill, and you key will work to let you in and out of the gate (the desk clerk told me to tear up the ticket I got to get into the parking lot).

When we got ready to leave at about 11 the night of check-out, the key wouldn't work. They have a button that you can push to ask for assistance. They asked me what room I was in and my name, checked it, and then raised the bar to let us out. If I had thought about it, I would have tried one of our other keys first just in case one of them worked (you know how sometimes one key will work when the other one won't).

Ok, here is my question. We will be arriving and departing by limo for our vacation to the Royal Pacific. I will rent a car on whatever days I need it. Then, two members of my party will depart out of MCO and I will ride with them to pickup a rental car (we are staying another week in FLA).

Upon return to the Royal Pacific, within an hour or two my wife and I will be checking out. Question, how long will they hold the car without charging me for parking?

When you pull into self parking, you push a button to get a parking ticket. When you leave (if you don't pay the overnight parking charge of $15), you pay whatever the rate is for the amount of time you were there. I didn't pay any attention to that since we were overnight.

I would call and talk to someone at the front desk to ask them (I would make sure it was someone at the front desk because somebody else I talked to a couple of months ago told m that I would have to pay for two days parking because the one day parking only covered 24 hours (not true).
