Hi,

Very tempted at staying here for a few nights next year and have looked at resort and overhead maps.

Can you walk to the parks from the hotel, or do you have to catch the boat, or drive?

Thanks

It`s really close, you can walk very easily.

Takes us less than 10 minutes to get to IOA walking from Tower 3.

The boat is a really nice way to go as well but we usually walk every day.

It is a VERY easy walk to both parks from the Royal Pacific. They also have the water taxis to take you to City Walk but we always found it faster to just walk ourselves. We did take the water taxi back at the end of the day sometimes.
Depending on how quickly you walk, you can be at IOA in about ten minutes.

ALL 3 of the current Universal resorts are easily within walking distance or a dedicated boat ride away

Thanks for the replies.

Can we take a wheelchair on the boat? Folded flat if necessary I guess.

it takes me less than 7 minutes to walk from rph to ioa.

it is a beautiful walk!

you have a security check near the end of the walkway, right before you come out by margaritaville in city walk.

Can't see any information on fridge or microwave rental on the hotel website, do they do this?

No microwave but fridge is $25 per night or free for medical. You need to call ahead to reserve one if so. It's easier to bring a cooler instead.
