It seems that the APH rates are in my favor for our Christmas vacation. We have PBH booked at 149/179 but then we have to go doubletree the last night(334 @ PBH), now we can book RPR for 149/119 and the last night 194.

The parks close at 7pm during our stay so we will be seeing much of the hotel. Which would you choose?

Thanks
Sabrina

RPH gets my vote - really like the theming.

if it was me, i would stay at the same hotel for all three nights.

i hate moving rooms or hotels. it takes so much time out of the day and takes away from my planning.

the last two trips, i moved rooms two times. one time, the other room was not ready so i went to the park and came back when the upgrade room was vacant and cleaned. such a waste of time.

here you would be moving out of the building and away from on site. i vote for stay at one hotel for the entire stay. when the parks close, go to city walk or go to dinner and a movie.
by the time you have closed down the park, visited city walk, you would be tired and then have to drive back to the hotel. stay on site and that would not be an issue.

if you have the entertainment book, use the coupon for the FREE meal and movie for city walk. its a nice way to wind down for the evening after a day at the parks.

RPR all 3 nights.
Moving does take time. Staying at the same hotel will let you "feel" like you are part of the action.
There is no way I would stay at the fancy place, then move to a budget hotel to end the trip.
I do agree with the opposite, starting at the budget hotel on the day of arrival, then moving to the RPR early the next morning.
Most people fly in arriving in the afternoon. You could arrive, stay in the budget hotel, check out at 7am the next morning, drive over to the RPR, check in at 8am, get your magic keys, and who knows, they may have a room ready. We checked in at 8am and our room was ready. In the afternoon, a long line forms, so try to arrive early. If not, they hold your bags, and you visit the parks until you check in at 4pm.

We really need to know if you are flying in, and when you will arrive.

I live in Coral Springs, so we are driving up in the am. The last day the onsite resorts are the most expensive so that is why we were going to move. I think we are going to stay at RPR. Thanks!!!!
