HRH is our first choice, but looking at the rates the club rooms at RPR include continental breakfast in the lounge, and I'm wondering if that might be a better option for us. We are 4 adults sharing a room (our children are both 18 and over), would that mean that all 4 of us could have breakfast in the lounge, included in that room rate? Would also appreciate any info on what kind of foods are available. Thanks :thumbsup2

yes you can all have breakfast there. Here's a thread with recent pics of club offerings http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2214294&highlight=rpr+club
also, when you're on the hotel forum if you look on the right at the top of the board there is a button that says" search this forum" click it and type in RPR club. I find this search button works better for me than the main one :) the disboards are a wealth of knowledge and I love planning our trips with them...almost to the point of being obsessive lol. I know you don't really need to PLAN as much for Universal vs Disney but I enjoy being a wealth of knowledge for my family lol

Oh thanks, that's a brilliant thread with fab pictures! :thumbsup2 It does look good, I will do some sums and see if it works out better for us. Thanks also for the search tip, I will give that a go. I love the DIS Boards, but haven't been on for a good while, as it's 3 years since our last trip, so enjoying being back here. Planning is nearly as much fun as actually being there, lol, so know exactly what you mean! :rotfl:

Keep in mind that the lounge might not open as early as you would like. In the past, people wanted to eat there before an early entry into WWoHP, but the lounge wasn't open early enough.

i was at club at rph last october.
i forgot the opening time ......
some of the hotels have a 7:30 opening and others have 7:00.

found it, 7:30 listed for breakfast, don't know if that is etched in stone though as this club lounge opens at 7:00 each morning.

Access to our 2,000 square foot lounge

Thanks, both of you, all this information is very useful. :thumbsup2

RPR Club opened at 7:30 when we where there in July, but never bothered us as we never do early mornings , for WWHP we usually went over after 9pm and it was basically walk on, rode it about 4 or 5 times as well as DD a few times before closing when we went, beats getting up about 6:30 am and then having to queue.
offerings where ok at Club, if i paid for it i would never get my moneys worth out of it, as we do not eat much at Breakfast. the afternoon nibbles where basically nuts crisps etc and the meal was ok, but only ate in there about 4 times over 2 weeks, and the deserts where not worth waiting till 8:30 for unless you where at the resort. Just my opinon

:rotfl: Oh, that's so funny!!!! Because we all think that you Americans are just the coolest, lol, I don't think I've ever been told my language is cool, but thanks, you have made my day! :lmao: You may think it even better to know that it was said with a Northern accent, not sure if you get Coronation Street over there or not, or are familiar with the different accents in the UK, but 'sums' in a North West accent is the proper way of saying it. ;) :rotfl:

Off to have a cheese butty now. ;) :rotfl2:
