Royal Pacific Club Level

Does the Royal Pacific offer any upgrades if you book Club Level at RPH? I am Loews Platnium, usually stay at HRH - but as you know its virtually impossible to get an upgrade at HRH with the Loews Platnium (on club level). So, I'm wondering if people have had better luck with upgrades to suites or deluxe rooms at RPH with the Loews Platnium (again - on club level). Thanks

Club level upgrades are not part of the Loews First program, so there is no upgrade to Club, platinum or not. There are no further upgrades if you book club either. This is true at all the Loews Orlando hotels.

Have stayed in a regular Club room many times at RPR as Platinum. Booked a qualifying rate, no further discounts or upgrades as Platinum.

If you think that lack of club upgrades stinks, please write to Loews First and let them know. I did.

Thanks for the info. I have complained in the Loews surverys about the problems with Loews First and lack of upgrades. Should I also write to Loews First and complain? I am willing to do whatever it takes - even if it just means I'm venting. It makes no sense to me that Platniums can not have any special perks if they book Club. That said, does RPH also have deluxe rooms on Club Level (and if so, do you know how many). Is the food any different on Club at RPH than the HRH? THanks

RPR has no deluxe rooms. None at all, even on Club.

They do have suites on the club floor: 3700 and 3701. These are King Suites, but I have NEVER been able to book them, despite numerous attempts. They are very elusive and difficult to get. They have a presidential suite and first officer's suite as well, but I don't know how to get them either. Also, my concern is that it would seem the RPR is converting some King Suites to Kids Suites, and you can't upgrade to a Kid's Suite using LF. This limits the # of King Suites available for upgrades at the RPR.

Yes, please write to Loews First customer service and complain! I did. If enough of us do it, maybe they would rethink including Club Privileges into the LF upgrades.

Sorry I can't help you with your other question. We have stayed RPR Club many times, but never HRH Club, so I can't compare.

I am traveling to the RPR on December 7th. I made my reservation via the phone on February 24th. I booked a standard room, mentioned that I was a platinum. They upgraded me to the KIng Suite. Maybe it is when I am going that it was available. This is not a club upgrade, just your general booking at the least expensive rate and getting the king suite upgrade.

I believe that is the standard Plat upgrade, however unlike most hotels, plat does not allow upgrade to club. Really wierd.
