Royal hall princesses

When we were there in January we didn't have early entry and found that as soon as the park opened we went in, stopped for a bathroom break and then went to the M&G. We waited about 30 minutes before meeting Aurora, Ariel and Cinderella.

Have a magical time.

I don't really think you need to line up early for the Royal Hall at all. The line is MUCH more efficient and faster than the old Princess Fantasy Faire, and even during the craziness that was Tinkerbell Half Weekend, the longest line I saw was 45 minutes.

I'd use my precious morning hours for rides, and come back to the Royal Hall in the afternoon. And yes, I have a princess-crazy DD!

The Frozen Meet and Greet is a completely different story, with at least a 2-hour wait most days.

My tip is to go during the show. We stumbled into the new area as a show was beginning. NO LINE. Went in and saw 3 princesses with no wait and no one else in there, they spent as much time with my DD as she wanted.

Not to spoil any magic, but let's just say that the time to see a princess was cut in half with the new Fantasy Faire. :thumbsup2

The tip about going during the show is great! The lines definitely tend to be shorter then. Also, the "alternate" princess (Belle during the Rapunzel show, Rapunzel during the Belle show) tends to just be out in the middle of the Faire area, which draws some of the line away from the Royal Hall.

I would get there about 10-15 minutes before the show starts. That's when people start lining up to get into the theater. Once the seats fill up, people start heading over to the Royal Hall.

And, if you go to the first two Belle shows or first two Rapunzel shows of the day, the princess will come back out for photos. Just don't leave the theater after!

And, just a heads up that Merida wasn't back in her typical spot due to the filming/refurb on IASW two weekends ago. She was out on the path between the Fantasy Faire and the castle, at least when we saw her. I don't know when you're going, but I'd double-check with a CM if seeing her is on your to-do list.

Well ... here's some news. I had thought that there would always be three princesses in the Royal Hall. (Princess Minnie has been reported to appear as a last resort.) There were only two princesses (I saw Ariel & Cinderella) this morning. Even more disappointing, and I think this is the first time in several years, no princes were present on Valentine's Day

This happened to us when we went in November. At the time we arrived, Aurora was the only one there and we had to wait for them to find Jasmine. After waiting about 20 minutes, I asked if we could just go in and see Aurora (kids were getting antsy). One CM told us yes, then another one said no. We waited about 10 more minutes and Jasmine finally arrived, but it was only her & Aurora.

It must be when you go.

When we were there last Tuesday, you could meet Cinderella, Aurora at the first Rapunzel show. By the time the show was over, Aurora was the only one you could meet.
